as he lies on the floor,
with his head in his hands,
surprising how much,
this boy can withstand.

I made him bleed,
for the things that he's done,
to see this boy crying,
I know that I've won.

seeing rivers of crimson,
escape from his arms,
the reason he's crying,
and bleeding -- self harm.

deep down I feel sorry,
and I know you agree,
this boy that is crying,
and bleeding.. is me.

Author's Comments

This poem is initially seen as me attacking a boy and making him suffer by crying and bleeding after the injuries I've given him. But as you continue to the final two verses, you see that the boy is not another person -- it is me.

Originally called "Attack me".
